The main contents of this research direction include power amplifier design and linearization theory, antenna theory and design, passive device theory and structure research, single multi-frequency passive/active device theory and structure design, high energy efficiency microwave devices, broadband multi-channel radio frequency system, electromagnetic compatibility and testing, etc. Among them, many scientific research achievements have been made in the aspect of monomer multi-frequency theory, which takes the leading position in the world.
(2) Wireless communication technology
The research direction pays close attention to the future development trend of wireless communication, depends on the frontier technology at home and abroad and carries out the following three researches: wireless communication intelligent transmission and networking technology, wireless sensing and network technology, space network architecture and intelligent access technology. It has made many scientific research achievements in multi-dimensional signal processing, wireless mesh network routing technology, space network architecture, space DTN routing technology, space network intelligent access technology and so on, which take the leading role at home.
(3) The next generation of mobile Internet, modern information theory and information intelligent processing technology
Over the years, ICN&CAD Center has been committed to the research of the next generation mobile communication and computer network. The current key research work includes converged network, cognitive wireless network, AD hoc network, Internet of Things, green communication technology, and key technologies of 4G mobile communication. In addition, ICN&CAD Center has carried out fruitful research, development and testing in mobile Internet business and application, network management.
(4) Spectrum access and cognitive radio
As to the problem of spectrum shortage in wireless communication in the future, this research direction aims to explore more flexible spectrum access methods. The technologies involved include spectrum sensing in cognitive radio, wireless resource management, cross-layer optimization, and the application of the above technologies in wireless communication networks.
(5) Mobile communication wireless resource management technology
This research direction pays attention to interference suppression and efficiency improvement technologies related to physical layer and MAC layer in future mobile communication networks, involving interference cancellation, collaborative multipoint, MIMO and layered heterogeneous technologies. And it focuses on the application and standardization of related technologies in future mobile communication networks LTE-A.
(6) Internet of Things information transmission technology and application
The key research work of this research direction includes wireless sensor network coverage control, RFID system application and development, highway network layer communication protocol, Internet of Things sensing information processing, etc. Among them, many scientific achievements have been made in RFID system application and development and Internet of things sensing information processing.
(7) Intelligent information processing
The main contents of this research include large-scale distributed computing architecture research, distributed massive data processing algorithm research and large-scale distributed system security research.

The main contents of this research include network protocol analysis, network software reliability research, network protocol blind detection research.
(9) Optical fiber communication system and network
The main research contents of this research direction include new high-speed modulation format, key technologies of high-speed long-distance transmission, optical switching, integration of optical communication and wireless communication, new access network architecture and key technologies.
(10) Satellite communications
The main research contents include key technologies in integrated networking of sky and earth and the transmission network, satellite mobile communication, the key techniques of broadband satellite communication, the separation of modular satellite network technology, high-speed, large-capacity, kop coherent reception of space optical communication technology, the solution for high speed data bus spacecraft rf cable packtized optical interconnects. The key technologies of new optical sensing technology, optical sensing receiving system, network and optical cache are studied. It has undertaken a number of provincial and ministerial projects and established a joint laboratory with the China Academy of Space Technology.
(11) Electromagnetic radiation information security and radio frequency technology
Over the years, it has actively promoted the electromagnetic compatible with wireless communication, computer science, bioelectronics and other interdisciplinary development research, carried out the research including advanced information acquisition and processing, electromagnetic environment and information security, electromagnetic dielectric materials and microwave devices, electromagnetic bionics technology and so on. Many scientific research achievements have been made, which takes the leading role in the country.
(12) Biological information, pattern recognition and image processing technology
The research direction is the comprehensive research of biosensing and biomedical information, and the feature awareness and recognition method of obtaining biomedical signals and image information. At present, the research in biological signal transduction, biomedical signal feature extraction, biomedical image recognition and so on is in the leading position in China.
(13) Information security and mobile value-added services
Over the years, the research team has conducted in-depth research in the field of information security at home and abroad, focusing on the research including information security system, related technology of smart card, mobile value-added services, etc. In recent years, it has made many scientific research achievements, won the Science and Technology Award of the Electronics Society, and has a number of technology patents. A variety of industrialization software products have been applied to dozens of provinces and cities in China, which is in the leading role at home.
(14) Telecom data analysis and research on key technologies of the Internet of Things
This research direction mainly focuses on the modern telecommunication network management model and technology, mobile Internet software value-added services, IoT architecture, IoT service discovery and IoT resource sharing. In recent years, it has made many scientific research achievements, won the Science and technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education, and applied for many invention patents.
(15) Broadband wireless communication theory and technology
This research mainly focuses on collaborative multipoint transmission (CoMP), multi-user MIMO, LTE<E-A, cognitive radio, compressed sensing theory, etc. It has achieved a number of research achievements, and applied for a number of invention patents and software copyrights.
(16) Wireless communication and navigation
This research direction pays attention to communication and navigation fusion technology research. Based on the communication system (such as mobile communication network, WIFI network, WSN) indoor and outdoor seamless positioning technology, the research breaks through wide-area indoor positioning bottleneck, seamless docking with Beidou positioning system, strengthens the Beidou positioning system performance, provides support for the difference of the Beidou system and personalized services. As a result, it enhances the competitiveness of China's independent Beidou system and foreign satellite navigation system (GPS, etc.). Concrete research content includes communications and navigation fusion positioning signal system, the wide-area high-precision indoor positioning technology, the combined system fusion positioning technology, indoor and outdoor seamless positioning technology, auxiliary Beidou positioning technology, indoor and outdoor seamless positioning terminal software/hardware design, the typical application of indoor and outdoor high-precision positioning model based on indoor and outdoor high-precision positioning (such as: fire rescue, care for special people, life detection), etc.
(17) Micro-nano electronics and systems
The research direction is oriented to the strategic needs of the country and national defense. The MEMS(micro-electrical system) technology is combined with the future communication core technology, so that RF radio frequency microwave devices have the characteristics of complex and diverse functions, smart and light design, and low-power consumption. The research direction includes reconfigurable microstrip antenna based on RF MEMS and electrical tape gap, novel millimeter wave transmission line based on MEMS technology, filter based on RF MEMS technology, miniaturized multimode satellite receiving antenna, RF MEMS switch structure design, antenna anti-jamming technology, etc.
(18) Satellite mobile communications
With the globalization of national interests, it is very urgent to construct our independent global mobile communication system of satellite systems. This research direction studies satellite mobile communication, satellite broadcast communication and other technologies. And it lays the foundation, provides solutions for the construction of China's independent satellite mobile communication system, meets the needs of military and civil satellite mobile communication system, and provides support for emergency communication.
(19) Antenna and radio frequency front-end design technology of wireless communication;
This direction includes the design and development of antenna systems and antenna fields, new antenna technologies in wireless/mobile communications (including dielectric resonance antenna (DRA), ultra-wideband radio and antenna (UWB), plasma antennas) , photonic band gap (PBG) and tunable material systems (AMS), RFID systems and technologies, microwave devices and circuits, front-end design for wireless communication systems, electromagnetic simulation algorithms and electromagnetic simulation software development, etc.
